PRESS RELEASE: Personal PAC Endorses Kimberly Brown for Chicago Board of Education in District 4

Chicago, IL – September 23, 2024 – Kimberly Brown, an experienced executive leader and advocate for parents and women’s rights, has received the official endorsement of Personal PAC, an advocacy group focused on protecting the independence of women and their bodies, specifically keeping Illinois a state where abortion is safe, legal, and accessible to every woman.

This endorsement marks a significant milestone in Kimberly Brown's campaign for the Chicago Public School Board of Education.

Chicago Public Schools currently is lagging other private schools (including the Archdiocese) in basic sexual health education. Kimberly Brown’s proven leadership experience in organizational management, finance, and education will ensure we right-size our district’s work to be in line with the laws, policies and values of our city and families to be have factual, age-appropriate, and accessible health education in every school.

Kimberly also advocates for improved point-of-care healthcare clinics in schools, which would include funding partnerships with the agencies currently tasked with those services but unable to reach the children.

The CPS Board of Education election will take place on Tuesday, November 5. You can register to vote and request a mail-in ballot online at chicagoelections.gov.
