Chicago, IL – September 15, 2024 – Kimberly Brown, a dedicated parent and educator, has received the official endorsement of Roosevelt University Adjunct Faculty Organization (RAFO), a leading educator organization within Chicago and an affiliate member of the Illinois Education Association and National Education Association. This endorsement marks a significant milestone in Kimberly Brown's campaign for the Chicago Public School Board of Education.

Roosevelt University Adjunct Faculty Organization by-laws include three goals that are notable for this Chicago Board of Education election and voters:

• Support RU adjunct faculty

• Provide the best education possible for students

• Encourage and assist other part-time faculty in the Chicago area

There are unprecedented challenges for educators and students, and many adjuncts are rising to the challenge by developing new skills and techniques to capture student attention and create connections, according to the official RAFO website. Kimberly Brown is one of those educational and organizational leaders.

The CPS Board of Education election will take place on Tuesday, November 5. You can register to vote and request a mail-in ballot online at chicagoelections.gov.
