We Need Your Voice

Did you know that more than 80% of voters trust their family members’ and friends’ recommendations the most when it comes to information?

Your voice and recommendation matters. If you are willing to share a restaurant recommendation, isn’t a qualified school board candidate even more important to share?

“Word of mouth” marketing works the best, and I really do want your voice. It’s more than just me, though. Your voice is needed for us and our community. We need you to find your confidence, be brave, and tell 5, 10, 20 friends that you’re voting for Kimberly Brown because she is the best choice.

3 Steps in Less Than 10 Minutes = Change Your City (seriously)

  1. Post on Social Media
It doesn’t matter if you have 2 or 200 followers. In a local election, these “micro-audiences” matter the most. Every. Vote. Counts

    • Share your candidate choice in local groups that you’re in (Ravenswood Community Group, Lakeview News, Buena Park Neighbors, etc.)

    • Follow and re-post my posts 1xweek with something easy like “I’m voting for Kimberly Brown. You should too.” I’m @kimberly4school on every social channel

    • Here is a link to some easy graphics to post and share on any social network you use. (zip file of the images shown above)

  2. Email Your Network
Friends, parents, neighbors, coworkers … everybody should be voting because they are literally paying for CPS. It can be something simple like “I’m voting for Kimberly Brown for CPS; can you too?” in the subject line. And a quick email saying you support me and want their support as well. I’ve also written sample email copy here with links to additional resources for those who like to learn :)

  3. Wear a Pin / Hang Our Banner!
Name recognition and branding matters. If you want to wear our merch (no cost) and put our sign in your window, send us message, and we’ll coordinate a drop off!

Extra Credit!

  • Volunteer to text voters information

  • Volunteer to pass out candidate scorecard, business card, or campaign merch at local Oct events

  • Volunteer to share information outside a polling station on Nov 5 (1-2 hour shifts)
