Last night at our local school which is also a magnet school, we had parents, extended family and chosen family,  local business owners and the school principal come together to enjoy a great evening together. Even in a big city like Chicago, you'll find people choose to stay and choose to go to public school because of little experiences like this happening all across our beautiful city everyday.
